When a document is uploaded to CAVO®, our OCR process reads the text and converts it into actionable data. There may be scenarios in which you want to see the text that CAVO®'s OCR engine captured. CAVO® allows you to view the text that was detected in either Formatted Text or Unformatted Text.
To view what the OCR engine captured, open a page and select the Detailed View button in the top right or press the t key shortcut.
In top center of the page is where you can choose between Formatted Text and Unformatted Text.
Formatted Text
The Formatted Text view displays the text that has been recognized from the page in a format similar to the how it is displayed on the image.
Unformatted Text
The Unformatted Text view displays the text that has been recognized from the page without any formatting.
Note: You can copy and paste the text from either Detail View display (Formatted or Unformatted).
