CAVO® IB Predict speeds up the review process by presenting the lines your organization will likely deny based on organization-specific policies, previous user behavior, and user feedback. Rather than exhaustively reviewing the complete IB line by line, CAVO® IB Predict presents suspect charges in a one-click shortcut for adjustment.

Accessing CAVO® IB Predict

In the IB Module, select the Predict tab.

Each time CAVO® IB Predict is opened, it runs the IB lines through your organization's predict model and returns the lines that are likely to be adjusted under the respective reason code.

Adjusting Predicted Lines

Select the line items you wish to adjust, navigate to the Bulk Actions button at the bottom of the screen, and select Adjust Line Items.

The Adjustment Modal lists the number of lines per reason code and the total amount being denied. Once Save Adjustments is selected, all adjusted line items will be removed from the Predict tab and the adjustments will be reflected on the Manual and Summary tabs.

Adding Rules to a CAVO® IB Predict Model

CAVO® allows users to add rules to their CAVO® IB Predict model on-the-fly so they are predicted in the future. When adjusting a line, the user can check the box Predict this line in the future.

After hitting Save Adjustment, the line will be adjusted and the user will be presented with the IB Predict Rules Editor where they can specify the criteria in which they want this line predicted in the future and to what reason code it should be predicted.

Once the rule is filled out, clicking Save Predict Rules will immediately set the rule live across the entire instance.

Modifying a CAVO® IB Predict Rule

If you need to change the criteria of a predict rule or the resulting reason code, you can click the 3 dots to the left of the line and select Modify Rule.

This will launch the CAVO® IB Prediction Rules Editor with the criteria of the current rule pre-populated. Simply make any necessary modifications to the rule and select Save Prediction Rules.

Stop Predicting Lines

Top stop predicting a line, click the 3 dots to the left of the line and select Stop Predicting.

In the modal, click Stop predicting.
