Column Filtering
Column Filters are a quick and streamlined way to sort and filter your data in an individual column. To access the Column Filter, hover your mouse over a column and click the three white horizontal lines.
Clicking on the Column Filter icon will display a dropdown menu with checkboxes next to the available values.
Note: In the filter, you can type a value in the filter's search box.
For example, when you type "305" into the Rev Code's Filter search box, the filter shows only lines containing Revcode of 305.
Once a filter is applied to a column, a filter icon will show next to the column name.
To add a second filter in a different column, select the Column Filter icon above the second column. Type or select the desired filter value. In the below example, the results now combine both filters to display results with a Date of Service of 10/31/2016 and Revcode 250.
Quick Filter
The Quick Filter searches for text or numbers across all IB cells in the case. This is an effective way to filter for descriptions containing partial words or terms.
Filter Tracker
The Filter Tracker located next to the Quick Filter turns blue when at least one filter is in use. Clicking on the Filter Tracker lists all currently enabled filters and allows you to remove individual filters or to Clear All filters.
Note: Filtering for Medication AWP's is covered in this article.
Filtering by Status
You can also filter for adjusted and unadjusted lines, predicted or not predicted lines, as well as lines containing any low or only-high confidence cells by clicking on the line number column filter and selecting which you want to see.
Column Sorting
Columns can also be sorted to further narrow data. To sort the contents of any column, you can click anywhere in the header of whichever column you wish to sort. The sort arrow's direction indicates the ascending or descending order of the column's contents. Simply clicking on the column again will toggle between ascending and descending.
Multi Column Sorting
To sort multiple columns, filter the first column and hold down shift while clicking the secondary column header. In the example below, the table has been sorted first by DOS and then by Revcode. To remove multi sorting, select the column header you wish to sort without holding shift.
Removing Sorting
To sort your IB back to the original order as listed on the bill, click on the Row Number column (the column labeled #).
