Learn how to View a Document in CAVO®

Written by Heath Keane

To view a document, click on the desired document in the library.

Once open, you will find left/right paging controls at the top left above the page along with the current and total page numbers. To access zoom controls, fit-to-page, and rotate options, expand the Doc Controls menu.

View Modes

CAVO offers 3 View Modes when viewing a document.

The first is Page View. This displays documents one page at a time.

The second is Scroll View. This allows users to scroll page to page through the document.

The third is Detail View. This is used to see the raw OCR text, as well as other technical information used for troubleshooting.

Note: All CAVO hotkeys and tools can be used in Page View or Scroll View, but only page navigation hotkeys are accessible in Detail View.

Hotkeys

Use z and x   keys to page backward and forward through pages of documents. Jump to page 10 by simply typing 10. Additionally, using the hotkey of r will rotate the document clockwise. These, along with other Hotkeys, will help streamline your CAVO® experience.

Page and Document Read Indicator

With a document open, a blue eye next to the document name indicates that you have previously viewed this page of the document.

With a document closed, a blue eye next to the document name indicates that you have previously viewed a portion of this document.

Return to Library

To close a page and return to the library, either use hotkey esc or click the Library button in the upper left-hand corner of the document header.
