Learn the differences among user roles in CAVO®

Supervisors have the ability to assign roles to users based on their positions and workflow needs. There are three roles available to front end users (Analyst, QA, and Supervisor) and one more technical role for developers. Your role displays underneath your name in the user menu in CAVO®. 

Analyst

Analysts' permissions include, but are not limited to:

  • Create cases

  • Upload documents

  • Search across cases and documents

  • Tag

  • Create, Submit, and Send Reviews

  • Manage the submitted appeals queue

  • Unsubmit/unsend appeals

  • Markup pages (highlight/redact)

  • Move documents

  • Remove IB adjustments

QA

The QA role contain all of the Analyst's abilities as well as:

  • Rename documents

  • Create searches

  • Delete cases

  • Create or Modify CAVO® IB Predict Rules

Supervisor

The Supervisor role includes all of the abilities of the Analyst and QA, as well as:

  • Add and disable users

  • Change user information

  • Assign roles (Supervisor, QA, Analyst)

  • Delete documents from the Case Library

  • Create, Modify, Delete reason codes

  • Create, Modify, Delete letter templates

  • Create, Modify, Delete snippets

  • Create, Modify, Delete tags

  • Access all reporting features

  • Create, Modify, Delete References documents

Developer

The developer role manages back end interactions with CAVO and is able to:

  • View API Documentation

  • Create and delete API keys
