CAVO's Summary Module is used to create Per Diem Summaries from selected documents in a case.

Generating a Per Diem Summary

To generate a Per Diem Summary, open the Summary Module and check the box to the left of the document(s) you want to be included in the summary. Then click the Select Documents button in the bottom right.

You will be brought to a confirmation screen informing you that this action may take up to 20 minutes depending on the number of pages included in the selected documents. To proceed, click the Generate Per Diem button in the bottom right.

You will then see the progress bar beginning to move. Clicking the X to the right of the progress bar will cancel the generation of the Per Diem Summary.

Note: Closing the Summary module or leaving the case will NOT cancel the generation of the Per Diem Summary. The only action that will cancel the process is clicking the X to the right of the progress bar.

Viewing the Per Diem Summary

Once the Summary has been generated, you will be notified through a snackbar.

The Summary Module will now list a day by day summary of all of the events that took place on each date of service. You can search through the summary using keywords in the top search bar. You can also filter the Per Diem Summary to specific dates by using the date picker in the top right.

Exporting the Per Diem Summary

Clicking the Export button in the top right will give you the options to export the entire Per Diem Summary in PDF form as a new document in the Library or to copy it to your clipboard to be pasted into another Module (such as Letter or Notes) or external source.

Hovering your mouse over individual days and events will also give you the option to copy just those days or events to your clipboard as well.

Regenerating a New Per Diem Summary

If you need to regenerate the Per Diem Summary, click the Regenerate button in the top left and you will be brought back to the list of documents to include. Proceed through the prompts as before to generate the new Per Diem Summary with the select documents.

Note: Regenerating a Per Diem Summary will erase the previous summary.
