CAVO®'s markup tools allow you to redact information, highlight sections with colors, and annotate (attach a note to a redaction/highlight or document page) on pages within the Document Library.
With the highlight feature, you can:
Choose from 6 highlight colors (red, yellow, blue, coral, lavender, and teal)
Choose from 2 redaction colors (black and white)
Create / edit / delete Notes attached to highlights
To begin, select the markup tool in the left corner, just above the page.
Next, choose the markup color and drag your cursor to markup the desired area. To modify the markup, click on the markup and select the desired color.
Annotations
Annotations allow you to Create/Add a Note that corresponds to the markup. To add an annotation to your markup, 'click' the New Note button from the markup toolbar; This will open a dialogue box on your document.
Upon typing your annotation into the New Note section, click Done to save your comments.
Notice the New Note icon is affixed to the top right of your markup. Selecting this icon will open a preview of the note, allowing for the note to be actionable or viewed within the Notes module.
In the Notes module, you'll see your Note. Underneath the note, you'll see the name of the document that contains the markup and it will be highlighted in the same color as the markup. This indicates that this Note is attached to a markup in that document. Clicking on this Note will take you directly to the corresponding page in the document.
Editing or Deleting a Markup
Clicking on a markup will open the markup tool, allowing you to change the color of the markup or delete the markup altogether.
Moving and Resizing a Markup
While the markup tool is open, markups can be repositioned by dragging them to your desired location. Markups can be resized by hovering over the markup and dragging and resizing any of its' four corners.
