CAVO® organizes information into Cases. To search for and open a specific Case, navigate to the blue search bar in the top banner, place your cursor within the search box, and begin typing the Case Name. Existing Cases will auto-populate as you enter the name. Upon identifying the appropriate Case, simply click on it to open that case.

Case Names are made up of two identifiers separated by a forward slash. See the example of facility/encounter above; "facility" is identifier 1 and "encounter" is identifier 2. These identifiers can be named whatever your organization chooses.

If you aren't sure of both case identifiers, plug either one of the identifiers into the Case Search below to see a list of all possible matches.

Note: You can also limit your search with a date range, keywords, or predefined searches.

Predefined Searches are available as a dropdown feature at the top of the Case Search. Place your cursor within the drop down box, begin typing the name or abbreviation of the intended search, and simply click on the one you want.

If you're searching by keywords, you may want to expand the Search Tip button to review pointers on commands and operations to aid in your Case search within CAVO®
